Blended Intensive Programme:
Exploring Social Sustainability
on an international scale
This Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) brings together international students to explore Social Sustainability through some key fields of teaching and practice in Social Sciences. Drawing on perspectives from Social Work, Inclusive Education, Childhood Education, Health and Care, Migration and Diversity, Community Development, and Nonprofit and Social Management, we examine how social professions can contribute to sustainable communities and social change. During the virtual and short-term mobility phases, students work in interdisciplinary and international teams, connect academic perspectives with local practice, and explore approaches to participation, inclusion, social justice, health, diversity and community resilience. Through workshops, field visits and collaborative projects, participants develop ideas for socially sustainable solutions while comparing experiences from different European contexts.
